Everything We Know About Tom Brady’s

Extreme Diet, Anti-Inflamation And Fitness Routines

You may never have as many Super Bowl victories as Tom Brady (or any), You may never be as rich as him, or have a supermodel spouse like him… but you can eat like him. The NFL superstar is currently 43-years-old and his most recent victory proves he’s still got the goods, so clearly, he’s figured something out. Here’s what the TB12 diet consists of in case you were thinking of trying to “be more like Tom.”

  • Diet Restrictions. First things first, coffee is not allowed. In fact, all caffeine is a no-no. Also “out?” White flour, white sugar, dairy products, and anything with gluten. Tom also doesn’t eat any vegetables that could cause inflammation so no tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, or mushrooms.
  • Brady Approved Foods. Tom focuses most of his diet on dark leafy greens, some grass-fed animal protein, legumes, and whole grains. And everything has to be organic. He washes all of that down with “a couple of hundred ounces” of water every day and usually, his bottle is spiked with electrolytes. TB’s also famous for treating himself to a healthy ice cream consisting of avocado with a little cacao mixed in.
  • Workout Routine. Brady used to go much harder with weights but as he’s gotten older, he’s switched to things like planks, lunges and squats, and other pliability exercises like doing crunches with a vibrating roller beneath his back. Part of his routine also includes getting several massages a day. His trainer Alex Guerrero will give him a pre-workout “deep force” massage and another after he exercises to flush out the lactic acid he builds up. And since Brady works out twice a day, it’s safe to say he’s logged a lot of time on Guerrero’s table.
